ABOUT JAGDPANTHER

There were two other SPG (Self-propelled Gun / Tank Destroyers) prior to Jagdpanther, one was mounted on the Pz IV chassis Hornisse / Nashorn had insufficient armor protection and the battle compartment has no armored roof, plus the unit was to high and very difficult to conceal, in other hand Ferdinand / Elefant had unheard at the time armor protection of 200 mm (100+100) but was extremely overweight and as a result was slow, had very poor maneuverability and subject to constant breakdowns.  Contrarily Jagdpanther was extremely effective weapon from any point of view, fortunately for allies the weapon went in production only at late stage of the war and Germans were unable to supply sufficient numbers to the front.

About Can.Do Series

Produced by Dragon Models Ltd. of Hong Kong.  This line includes extremely detailed static military miniatures in both 1/144 and 1/35 scale. These items are sold pre-painted, pre-assembled and ready to go right out of the box. They include realistic camouflage patterns and weathering! Titles include tanks, aircraft, ships and figures.

Each combat vehicle series consist of 6 models (A-F) plus one Special Model (X).  X model usually represents 2 or 4% of master case ratio.  Not all items are produced in the same ratio.  Dragon doesn’t release ration information for this series.  Based on my experience I can say that A – Fuhrer Grenadier Brigade, East Prussia, December 1944 (winter camouflage) and F – “Late Camo Scheme”, Spring 1945 supplied in very low quantity, usually only one of each per 12pcs model box.
