Very good model of the very popular car from 1970’s could be a PERFECT ADDITION TO ANY CAR COLLECTION.
Schuco is very old, famous, German Company the company had been established in 1912 and after WW I it was renamed as Schuco. “Over the course of the next 60 years, Schuco became one of the most innovative and successful toy companies in the world. They entered the die cast market in 1951… 1/43 scale series come out in the early 1970s…” At that time there were among the best companies making 1/43 scale die cast models. But the competition was too much for the legendary firm, and in 1977 it was closed. Recently the company was reestablished and 1/43 scale die cast line of models aging among the products of the firm. All die cast 1/43 scale models are new products, none are reproduction of old products.
Two lines of models in 1/43 scale are available.
Edition 1:43 in 5 Collections: Classics, Contemporary, Motorsport, Historic Delivery Trucks and Tractors, comprises an enormous variety of highly detailed models reflecting important periods of German automobile production.
Schuco Jr line - is inexpensive, but decent quality lines of models developed and manufactured by third party and marketed by Schuco. It is a great models to start a collection and are good enough to keep on display along with much more expensive models.
Schuco models are great addition to any serious collections. Models are accurate, with an attention to small details, rubber tires on authentic rims, in variety of colors (each color issue has the individual catalog number). Came in acrylic display case with black base that has a car name and model printed on it. The company releases limited edition models that usually in some specific liveries and could have some tooling modification.,
In my opinion it is a great product that is a match to Minichamps quality with a great name stands behind it.
There are not many dealers in USA that care Schuco die cast models. I am trying to keep in stock all what is available for a distribution on the US market including trucks and tractors.
