ABOUT THE CAR
“The Mitsubishi Lancer EVO VI (Evolution) was announced in late 1998 as the company’s entry in the 1999 World Rally Championship. To meet FIA homologation rules, Mitsubishi had to build at least 2500 of these cars. In “street version” it was primarily sold in Japan, but in racing from this racer was worldwide! The Lancer EVO VI was designed with one purpose in mind: to be the most accomplished road-going version of any ‘special car’ ever produced.
Based on specifications from its predecessor, the Lancer EVOI V, this new “pocket rocket” has kept the dynamics in-line 4-cylinder turbocharged 2 liter engine which pumps out 300 bhp at 6000 rpm.”
This is All Wheel Drive (AWD) vehicle.
