Detail Cars are product of the Italian Company C.D.C as the product name implies, they were well-detailed from the start. Models manufactured in China. Debuted in 1992 they had an agreement with Corgi and Revell (at different time) for marketing its product. Therefore on some boxes logos of those companies could be present. With their excellent quality they compete well with brands like Paul’s Model Art – Minichamps, Vitesse or Schuco. Their models are great addition to any serious collections. Models are accurate, with an attention to small details, rubber tires on authentic rims, in variety of colors (each color issue has the individual catalog number). Came in acrylic display case with black base that has a car name and model printed on it.

Few years ago C.D.C. discontinued their line of Cars and Military models in order to concentrate their Armour lines of military planes, arguably the best die cast models of planes. Now it’s a defunct company and Armour Collection is belongs to Franklin Mint.
It became more and more difficult to find models by Detail Cars, I still have a list consist over couple of dozen of their models. Check my eBay store and if you do not see the one what you are looking for please ask.
