About MINICHAMPS: Germany based company has its manufacturing done in China. “When Paul’s Art entered the die cast arena in the early 1990s, the accuracy and quality of their product forced other manufacturers to improve their quality and value in order to compete. PMA models have excellent paint finishes and accurate details such as good armaments and door handles. The Models generally come packaged in a cardboard sleeve containing a plastic display box, to which the model is mounted with a screw”
ABOUT THE CAR “ S-Class –V-8 – V-12 In 1993 two brand new coupes, the 500SEC and the 600SEC joined the recently introduced S-Class Sedans”
Among many other changes that happened in 1994 a new much easier to understand series of designations was introduced. The top-of-the-line sedans become S-class and numbers after that in most cases would designate the engine size in liters. Therefore this car became S 600 Coupe 2 door 4 passangers. 1996 was the last year when S 600 Coupe was available on the USA market. At that year S Class was chose to showcase MB’s Electronic Stability Program (ESP). A new engine management system (ME 1) improved fuel economy.
Base V-12 for 600 SEC: Dual-overhead-cam “vee” type twelve-cylinder (48-valves). Aluminum alloy block and heads. Displacement: 5987 cc; Brake Horsepower: 315 at 5200rpm. Multi point fuel injection.
