With the enornous success of Anheuser Busch in brewing and distributing beer, and the St. Loius StreetCar Company in manufacturing streetcars, the City of St. Louis was prominently placed on the United States Industrial map in the early 20th Century. Corgi Classics commemorates these pillars of St. Louis business with a brand new Budweiser PCC Streetcar displaying vintage 1950s era Anheuser Busch Advertisements as it might have looked heading to the ballpark for a summer game
In 1872 the Anheuser Busch eagle logo first appeared on beer packaging. In 1876 Budweiser Lager Beer was introduced - and the rest, as they say, is history. From the famous Clydesdales and Busch Gardens, to the St. Louis Cardinals and major commercial Super Bowl Spots, the Anheuser Busch Company indelibly has made its mark on America. For decades one of the most visible parts of the Budwesier brand has been the countless delivery trucks seen on America's roads. Now the classic delivery trucks from the 1950s are back in minature, along with a St. Louis PCC car complete with vintage Budweiser billboards
The model is suitable for the “O” gauge railroad display.
