The 595-horse power W125 was considered the most powerful race car ever for about 3 decades! It was in 60’s when large capacity US-built V8 engines in CanAm sports cars reached similar power.  In Formula 1 this wasn’t exceeded until the early 1980s.

This is a nicely detailed model that displays very well.

Schuco Junior Line models are developed and produced by a third party. These are decent quality models that are perfect for beginners, enthusiasts of a specific car or a manufacturer.  They displays really well while some models seating on a display shelf will looks like made by much more expensive model makers.  The line has a great price to quality ratio.  In fact for this quality you would expect higher price. But, the mass production of models with huge sale elsewhere in the world allowed the manufacturer to keep price at a low level.

Many models feature opening front doors.

Schuco Jr. line was available in small number on the US market prior 2003, while it was a US Schuco Distributor, since it was not exported in US.  Cleaning my warehouse I’ve found a few boxes with models that you can see on my web site.  These are from 2002 catalog.  Practically all aren’t available any longer.

Packaging a carton window box, most have a collector card.
