Early models produced by Yat Ming were models that no serious collector will consider to add to their collection. In last few years the company released several models in 1/43 scale that still have a low price tag but in fact are very decent models that display very good, featuring nicely detailed body with a good quality paint job.
Their newest 1/43 scale line of models is the Fire Engine Series that is a really something! Models are highly detailed, with very good paint job.
As a collector I will not hesitate to highly recommend these models to fellow collectors and will describe these models as very solid models of very good quality, but yet featuring very low price tag. In my personal opinion this line is a champion in the price to quality ration competition on the current diecast car/truck models market. For this quality level an experienced collector would anticipate a price that 2-3 times higher compare to the price that Yat Ming is asking for these models.
As of summer 2008 The Fire Engine Collection consist of 10 fire engine models, with one presented in 2 liveries, and at least two new Fire Engines models are expected for release before the year ends.
Packaging consists of – black plastic display base (model attached with a screw) with a clear acrylic top and outer carton sleeve.
