Condition – Old stock, received from the manufacturer, never on display, stored in original Corgi master shipper boxes.
This is a highly detailed model of a utility truck that was designed and widely used by US armed forces. Here it presented in the livery of Texas Pipe Line Company and was used as a fire fighting vehicle. It has fire fighting tools and equipment on a trailer and probably under the tarpauline cover on the back of the truck. The sign on the side of the truck reads “Warning! Hose for fire use only”
This is a highly detailed model that displays great! You will not be disappointed. 1:43 scale is suitable for O-gauge displays and could be a great addition to your railroad display layout.
This model that was sold out by the manufacturer several years ago and by now only very few dealers still have it. In early 00’s I used to be a Corgi distributor and acquired models that were released at that time in large quantity. Even now I still have some models that are sold out virtually by all dealers. I am rearranging my warehouse and found some misplaced boxes with some models that was not listed in my web store at all or most were sold out long ago.
