TrueScale Miniature – The company appeared on the market in 2007 with beautifully crafter sets of garage tools in 1/43 and 1/18 scale, with logo of the well-known high quality garage tools company Sanp-on.

Well, this new addition is really quite nice; control panel is amazing, prints as you can see on the picture looks great. The Hoist frame made of metal the rest is plastic. The model required simple assembly procedures; just screw 4 bolts attaching lift posts to the base (a screw driver with magnetic tip is included with the set) and snap on upper horizontal support. Last step is to plug in 4 plastic plugs to cover unused holes in the base that are available for alternative mounting position. Desirable arm height secured with a turn of a crew located on the arms base.
Overall the hoist displays great but it is too wide for the scale. They say that it was done intentionally allowing accommodate your favorite model that width could be wider to the 1/43 scale. It is a good point but still if observed from the front there is too much space on both sides between the hoist posts and the car. Nevertheless as a collector I am very pleased with this new addition. In my best knowledge this is the only model of a car hoist on the 1/43 scale market. Of cause it displays much better with addition of garage tools such as TrueScale Garage Essentials or Tools and / or Oil Change sets by GMP.
