Starline Models is a new name on the very competitive market of 1/43 scale diecast car models.  The company based in Germany, but models produced in China (P.R.C.)  Collection consists mostly of Italian Cars models from 60’s-70’s.   It appears that most models present cars that aren’t available from different model makers or very difficult to find.

Models are well detailed with very good paint job and nicely done wheels.  Bumpers and grill  have “chrome” finish, body “chrome” package like windows trip are painted silver (good quality), windshield wipers on most models “silver” painted.  Each model presented in different colors with individual catalog number.

In my personal opinion as a collector this line quality wise is a strong competitor to New Vitesse and IXO and compete well with Minichamps brands.

Packaging consist of display case (black plastic base with a slope front on which the car name, model and year printed in white, clear acrylic top and outer carton sleeve (metal gray in color with company logo all over it, open front, top and both ends).  Display is stackable and holds well.

In my best knowledge currently Starline Models presented on the US market only as
”gray export” – independed US dealer exported it from European dealers.

Lancia Lancia has a long history of producing distinctive cars and also has a strong rally heritage. Fulvia won International Rally Championship in 1972

Fulvia was introduced at the Geneva Motor Show in 1963 by Italian Automaker Lancia.  Lancia became a part of Fiat Group in 1969 with Fulvia produced through 1976.

Fulvia, unlike its predecessor was a front wheel drive, independent suspension in front and a solid axle in back. It had four wheel Dunlop disc brakes. In general engineering design Fulvia was similar to Lanciia Flavia with exception of the engine.  Fulvia engine was a narrow angle V4 DOHC with one camshaft and a single cylinder head.  Original version of the engine had a displacement of 1091 cc producing 59 hp, soon after the engine was bored so the HF model had 1216 cc with output of 80 to 88 hp. In 1967 the engine was reengineered and became available with three displacements, with the most common had 1298 cc.  The engine was redone once more for a new HF; it had displacement of 1584 cc and produced 114 to 132 hp.

The first Sport version was 2-seater rebody of Coupe by ZAGATO, powered by 1216cc engine and had aluminum panels.  An update version featured 1298cc engine producing 87 hp, with first 700 cars still have aluminum panels.  This model presents Sport 1.3s, which was an update Sport 1.3 with larger more powerful engine (1298cc / 93.2 hp) 2nd-series !.3s had 5 speed gear box.
