ABOUT THE CAR Very nice model of popular in late 80’s – early 90’s rally car that dominated WRC during those years and won Constructors Championship a record six times in a row (1987-1992) and scoring 46 WRC victories and unbelievable long list of wins in national Championships.  It presented as had been driven at Rally Sanremo 1987 (October 12-15, 2064.87 km on asphalt and gravel, 125 teams at the start and 55 at the finish) at which this car had been debuted in Group A, which become the new objective for the Work’s Teams after the Croup B was abandoned after 1986 season, and lost all contact with standard production.   This model could be a welcome addition to any serious rally car collection an simply a must for Lancia Delta HF enthusiasts.

Car #4 Grifone Esso Team, took 5^th place at the event, it was driven by Fabrizio Tabaton / Luciano Tedeschini.

Skid was a part of Vitesse Group of companies.  This line specialized in Rally cars. Models of very good quality with accurate paint finish and detailing, they are competing well with models by Minichamps. They have rubber tires and plastic baseplate”. Model comes with its own display case that is a square with one corner behind the car is mirrored.
Vitesse name along with most streetcars dies went to Sun Star (was actual manufacturer of most street cars, developer and owner of many dies) now known as “new” Vitesse.

Company that produced models produced under ‘Skid’ brand created its own brand, which now is well known “ixoMODELS”.
