Altaya is a European company (Spain and France) that sale different collectibles under subscription including die-cast models. 1:43 scale die-cast models sold by series and produced for Altaya by ixo-Models. Series are available for a limited period of time.
This series represents popular cars participated at famous and legendary 24 h at Le Mans. This car is from 2nd edition of the series.
Packaging consists of a display case (black base with the series logo and a car name printed on it and clear top) packed in a blister pack. Display is smaller than ixo’s standard display cases.
Models from this series were available for sale in Spain and France, mostly under subscribtion. Altaya doesn’t export its product in other countries. Models produced by ixo however many they arer simplified compare to models issued under ixo brand. Photoetched parts substituted with plastic, some small parts like exhaust ends can be removed, silver paint used intead of "chrome" but overall still are good models and sold much less expensive compare to their ixo seblings.
