Vedette was manufactured at the Ford plant in France in 1953 and 1954. The 1954 model get one piece front windshield. French car maker Simca bought unprofitable Ford plant in 1954 and continued production of the car under the Simca Vedette name.
ixo-MODELS are made in China by SONIC INTERNATIONAL (TOYS) LIMITED.
Packaging is attractive, models attached w/a screw to the black plastic display case w/printed model name on it, has a clear acrylic top, display packed in a carton sleeve.
The brand provides very good to excellent quality, sharp details, and very good paint job.
On fast strips and sharp curves of the competition course it very competitive in quality, not yield in variety, and simply left in a dust in affordability race their major competitor the M_inichamps brand by P_aul’s Model Art.
ixo-Models brand present on the market just for a few years. It emerged after famous Vitesse Group got bankrupt. Many of their models were available under V_itesse and S_kid badges. Since 2001 the company had released large number of new models and many new liveries were introduced also. New models introduced by the company on regular basis.
