BOLTON TRANSPORT – “Bolton Evening News”

This is an old release (probably 1984) of a classic CORGI model of double deck AEC Routemaster bus.  This casting was a part of Corgi products for very long time and was released in many different liveries.  This particular issue presented in the livery of Bolton Transport fleet number 122 Route 197 LEE LANE.  Bolton Transport in a gold color (on a side of a lower deck) and advertisement of the Bolton Evening News in white color on sides of the upper deck.  The base color of the model is burgundy.

This model displays great, in my personal opinion as a collector, this model is one of the most attractive model from large varieties of different liveries issued over the years.

This model is a part of group of models from various manufacturers that I acquired from a company that liquidated a contents of an old warehouse of a company that used to be a die cast distributor in late 70s’ through early 90’s.  Models are in a mint condition, boxes in very good conditions.
