SOLIDO

- is French die cast model maker with a long history.  Back in 70’s and 80’s it was one of the leading company in the field.

Models were considered as a highly detailed for the time.  Currently available technology allowed to make models with much higher level of details compare to those of old Solido models but they still display great.  

FORD V8 Collection

This collection was released in 1999 and consists of six models of 1936 Ford V8.  Models had been released as limited edition of 3,000 pcs each.  The series has its own design for an outer carton sleeve.

Solido used its old tooling of Ford V8 from Age D’Or Series, but I am not sure if a tire load on a flatbed or a towing truck were available before.
