ABOUT THE BRADLEY IFV
The BRADLEY Fighting Vehicle has earned a reputation as the finest fighting vehicle in the world. Since its initial production in 1981 it had been continually enhanced to meet and exceed the requirements of the changing battlefield. It provides transportation for a squad on a battlefield with the superior mobility, firepower and protection. Infantry enters/lives through rear rump, which hydraulically operated or hatch on the roof. Armed with: 25mm cannon (chain gun that equipped with dual feed system allowed a gunner to switch between AP or HE ammunition and has three different rate of fire; a coaxial 7.62mm machine gun and twin tubes TOW missile launcher that is capable to destroy an enemy MBT at the range of 2.5miles / 4 km. The crew consists of 3 with 7 infantrymen dismounts. Powered with 8 cal. supercharged Cummins diesel that produces 600 hp; the vehicle has a maximum speed of 38mph / 61km/h and range of 300 miles M2A2 many improvements including drive, suspension, electronics and added armor to the hull sides and bottom increasing protection but also the weight to 25 tons.
