ABOUT THE MODEL RARE, difficult to find, very good model
Models of very good quality with accurate paint finish and detailing, they are competing well with models by Minichamps. While many models will not yield in quality price wise they are less expensive than Minichamps. Models have rubber tires and plastic baseplate. Model comes with its own display case packet in a cardboard or more recent packaging – a square display case with a mirrored corner..
1/43 scale is the most popular, one of the oldest, international scale used for die cast cars models.
Vitesse was established and made its model in Portugal by CINERUS Ltd. Latter it war reorganized as Vitesse Group and distributed models of companies like Skid, Victoria, Quartzo, Trofeu and City, production was moved to China. A few years ago company was closed.
By a bankruptcy court a name rights were transferred to a company know in a model world as Sun Star and in fact was a manufacturer of many Vitesse models.
Now models from the new Vitesse became available on a market. The company releasing some old Vitesse models that were out of production for an extensive time and most likely tooling was belongs to San Star. Some number of brand new models was recently released also. Choice is very limited, compare to a list of models that were in Vitesse list. All models are issued only under Limited Edition policy.
