Now well-known Hongwell/Cararama is a popular brand while this model are from a time when it was a new unknown company. 

Cleaning my warehouse I found a few samples that I’ve got from UK sometime in late 1999 – early 2000.  Models are mint boxes are in near to mint condition.

Hongwell produces decent quality models, good quality paint job, many models feature nicely detailing body parts, like glass rear lights, chrome body and/or lights trim, many feature opening front doors.

This line has very good price to quality ratio and it is a perfect product for beginners but also welcome to a dedicated collections of a specific car or a car manufacturer enthusiasts.  On display shelf these models display very well so if you have a trouble to find a model of a car from other model maker these models will do the job.

Hongwell issued many of its models for Schuco Junior Line and Corgi Toys that were branded under those company names.

While widely available elsewhere in the world, where 1/43 arguably the most popular scale for diecast car collectors, on the US market it is rather difficult to find line.
