ABOUT THE MODEL
Accurate, highly detailed model came with its own display case. Model has a TAXI sign on its roof, that a must for a taxi cab.
This is a difficult to find model that could be a great addition to a city vehicles (Taxi, Police, Ambulance etc.), or any modern car collection.
ABOUT THE MODEL MAKER
Schuco is very old, famous, German Company that has an established name among collectors all over the world. They were a leader in die cast car models back in ‘70s. Recently they reestablished line of die cast models, and as you are about to see, they are doing a great job. Two lines of models in 1/43 scale are available. Economy -Schuco Jr line - is inexpensive, but decent quality models; and Gorgeous - Edition 1:43 in 5 Collections: Classics, Contemporary, Motorsport, Historic Delivery Trucks and Tractors, comprises an enormous variety of highly detailed models reflecting important periods of German automobile production.
Schuco models are great addition to any serious collections. Models are accurate, with an attention to small details, rubber tires on authentic rims, in variety of colors (each color issue has the individual catalog number). Came in acrylic display case with black base that has a car name and model printed on It.
This is a match to Minichamps quality with a great name stands behind It.
There are not many dealers that care Schuco models. I still have almost all models from Jr line and from all 5 Collections of Edition 1/43 (Collector Edition).
