This model was issued as a part of “EDDIE STOBART LTD CONTRACT COLLECTION” Series. In 2001 Corgi had released 5 1/64 scale models in their Collectable Lines. Four models were released in this series. And brand new model in 1/64 scale of Leyland DAF 95 was released in the second part of 2001 in Corgi ‘CHARITY CONNECTION’ Series (also in stock). Models are an upgraded version of trucks models from their popular Superhaulers Series of Corgi Toy Line of models. Models from this series come in a window box that was design for a specific model (not generic Superhaulers series box).

EDDIE STOBART LTD was the largest privately own Transportation Company in UK, and had been sold to a development group in October, 2003. Models in the livery of this company are very collectible items and enjoyed a massive cult in UK.
Please be advice that in last couple of years many Corgi truck models issued in the livery of privately own companies that were acquired by different companies enjoyed a high appreciation in price. It is very likely that it will happens to models in this very popular liveries.
