Released in 1953, the Mack B had a rounded profile and quickly became a favorite as the barometer against which all trucks were measured. Over 127,786 were built through 1965, many of them seeing service as beverage distribution trucks. The Mack B Van is dressed according to the Budweiser styling guide beer distributors were required to adhere to by Anheuser Busch.
In 1872 the Anheuser Busch eagle logo first appeared on beer packaging. In 1876 Budweiser Lager Beer was introduced - and the rest, as they say, is history. From the famous Clydesdales and Busch Gardens, to the St. Louis Cardinals and major commercial Super Bowl Spots, the Anheuser Busch Company indelibly has made its mark on America. For decades one of the most visible parts of the Budweiser brand has been the countless delivery trucks seen on America's roads. Now the classic delivery trucks from the 1950s are back in miniature, along with a St. Louis PCC car complete with vintage Budweiser billboards.
The model is suitable for the “O” gauge railroad display.
