Model is new stock, received from the manufacturer.
Cab is die cast other part are plastic. Featured detailed “sweeping machine” which reveals upon tilting of a sweep box.
Schuco is very old, famous German toy company. Among their other products are die cast models. The Junior Line of models was added to their full collectors line of models.
As a part of Junior Line Schuco offers die cast metal 1:72 scale model cars and trucks. The attention to detail is so fine and the choice of colors is very authentic to comparison to the originals.
Truck models are unbelievable highly detailed for this scale and have operational features that are rare even for many truck models from very respectable modelmakers in larger sizes. Any collector will be happy to have such models.
Good things come packaged, complete with their own large clear, hard plastic case. Cases are stackable! Model is secured to a display case base with two screws.
While targeting kids and ideal for beginners in die cast vehicles collectors, these models are so good that could be a welcome additions to any collection large or small.
After almost a year a new company started to export Schuco products on the US market. However, they (or nobody else) do not export models from the Junior Line. It became more and more difficult to find these inexpensive but yet good models, here in US.
